I just recently noticed, with the tennis elbow first occuring on the right, that even though I am left handed when writing I do everything else with my rght. I neer knew that untill Icould not use my right for awhile.

OP, Once the tennis elbow hit me, had long years of treatment, then finally did the "little" surgery, which helped. However, I waited too long for the surgery, and the other arm took it's toll and developed same symptoms, and docs say that is very common. Once you get a syndrome, be it arm or leg, the other often over compensates, thus, a twofer.
