Scott is Writing Letters From the Clinker

They apparently began arriving in the mail a few days ago, written in pencil. In them, Peterson expresses hope that whoever took his wife was kind to her.
According to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department, there's no limit to how many letters Peterson can send or receive in jail.
"The letters are unsealed," said Deputy Tom Letras. "The deputies scan through them quickly to make sure there are no maps drawn on them or any contraband inside the envelope. Then the envelopes are sealed and put into the mailbox."
Peterson's letters are optimistic about getting out of jail and being exonerated, and he writes that he wants Laci to be remembered in a special way.
