Lee is currently working on the Laci Peterson case. He would not share specifics about that case.

Uh oh, Henry Lee.

I have never trusted Lee since his OJ testimony. "Something wrong", indeed.

In the same capacity as Bill Garcia? Or does Mr. Lee have a client?

That's what I was wondering. Who hired him--prosecution or defense.

Fox just reported that today's search in the water is done for the day and will resume tomorrow. Nothing of significance found that they've been told about, per Trace Gallagher.

Good for you, Vel! I feel like you did the right thing. BTW, Wheat kind of disagreed, and wondered why I felt that way about those middle easterners I saw in the public library here. (I didn't report those; maybe should have.) I got the impression that Wheat thought I was being kind of provincial, in encouraging you to report these ones you saw.

But... a large city. Large buildings. What the heck, Peggy Noonan agrees with the idea of reporting such things--per a post-9/11 column of hers. Good company, I guess.

I don't know. I think he said it was the toolbox of his truck that he cut himself on. But come to think of it, if he IS right-handed, and if that cut really was from doing something gruesome, that seems strange as well. Seems like he'd have cut his right knuckle.

But if the cut was from chicken-wire, well, I could see that being on either hand.

WHAT a story!! It could almost have been, "He Died Saving His Lawnmower"!

And I would like to give a "kudos" to Roberto for keeping on keeping on!

Now I'm scared to let the kids mow the lawn.

Horrors!

If he did that, though, it's almost as though he were guaranteeing that it would stay preserved for longer. I mean, if he didn't put cement on it, seems the sea life would deteriorate it much more quickly.

But, knowing how Scott does not appear to think as others do, I'd say you might have a good theory there...

We are all assuming that Geraldo is doing this b/c he has some sort of secret deal with the defense. I think that's a reasonable assumption, but really, we don't KNOW that for a fact yet.

Maybe, just maybe, Geraldo is doing this only b/c he is a sensationalistic, hysterical, yellow, sleazy, excuse for a "journalist". That, also, is possible.

Either one is plausible, but I don't quite understand FOX news standing behind him so much in their reporting. Heard today that the prosecution is "desperately seeking evidence to prove their case". Did MDP or prosecution tell FOX that? I don't think so!

I didn't mean to take the thread into the toilet quite as far as I did, but since I did, I'll take it a step further to accomodate Yeti. We really need to lighten up here. Remember, he wanted to tell a BM joke the other day, and decided against it. This one is from Dustin Hoffman.

"When I was 20, a little action meant going out, finding a girl and scoring. When I was 40, getting a little action meant going out and eating a wonderful steak and getting tanked. Now that I'm 60, getting a little action means going to the bathroom and having a decent bowel movement."

The real news is so scarce in the Peterson case, I'll resort to bad toilet jokes.

Well, lol, they have to stand behind him at the moment--they were the ones who were dumb enough to hire him!

Now, if there is not good, hard evidence there that Scott is guilty, can't he (or the Mod Bee, for that matter), sue the state if they can't prove this case?

No, but if they find that evidence pointing to someone OTHER than SP was found and known to the prosocution and is withheld from the court THEN they might be able to.
