From interview -- JG: According to their definition. My friend Martin Lewis is filing a lawsuit against Fox News because of the words “fair” and “balanced.”

Jon Stewart of the Daily Show recently had Diane Ravitch on as a guest, promoting her new book which discusses how political correctness is destroying the English language. Jon Stewart was fascinated by this topic and clearly enjoyed having Diane Ravitch as his guest. By contrast, JG's friend's lawsuit sound trivial. The promotion of a news show, through use of the words "fair" and "balanced," is not cause for a lawsuit. However, I think a rule or law eliminating such words used that way might be the basis of a complaint about violation of Free Speech.
