Said that Laura and Dubya had called a family conference with the First Twins and said that there are to be no more wild college parties and both will be required to live in Washington for the summer and perhaps longer if another incident gets into the press. (as long as they are recieving college money)

The article did not say whether Barbara the younger would then commute to Yale or Jenna would transfer to Maryland U.

When the Peterson case makes any appearance on any national news channel including Fox News, I immediately change the channel. This crap is designed to draw everyone's attention froim the real national news, that being taxes, terrorism, Estrada, etc.

I'd be more surprised if the Bush twins, Jeb's daughter, Chelsea Clinton, the Gore boys and girls ...etc. DIDN'T party like the somewhat over indulgent children of the privilaged class that they are ... I went to school with kids like them - maybe not so publically famous, but definitely kids of a certain social class ... it's par for the course. Not endorsing these activities as model behavior, but the fact is they are really just borderline bad in the context of what thousands of what privilaged college kids do, nothing really out of line, but sometimes the publicity can look bad for the parents.

Kinda like the "Dead RAT Bounce". It worked with Carnahan two elections ago but they overplayed the sympathy vote with Wellstone though. Who will it be this election? Let's see, a maverick Democrat in a close state. This time they won't screw up and party at the funeral.
