I agree. Although he purports to attack Ann Coulter, you an detect all sorts of admiration for her. I actually enjoyed reading it. It reminded me why I like Ann Coulter so much. She does not write like a man, though. She writes better than any man I know. To use a military metaphor, I think an appropriate "nom de guerre" for her would be: "The Stonewall Jackson of the American Right".
While liberals detest her, they cannot help admiring her skills as a polemicist.
I'll agree that this guy betrayed an undercurrent of admiration, but I'll bet it has more to do with a desire to be dominated than being smitten by Ann or her politics. I'll bet a night in a sweaty Baghdad prison would be equally bewitching to this Guardian hack.
