I was interested in this to start with and wished Anika the best and still do.
But saying that lets say "Tiger and the top five rated men on the PGA started playing all the leading money events on the womens tour, how would that fair?(I know they cant because of the discriminatory rules but its not discrimination when the shoe is on the other foot is it)?
The real problems I have here are this keeps some man who is at the bottom of the ladder from making a living unless Anika does not make the cut, to which I think she will and I know Im in the minority on the cut deal.Also if all the men on the bottom of the rung played on the womens tour do you not think the women would complain? Diversity is just another way to have a set aside. To the PC crowd this does not mean the same thing it says in Websters. To them diversity must mean what they say it does and you are not diverse if your opinion is different and there is no place for you.
Next lets cut out all gender and race and let everyone compete for every thing at anytime. From grammar school all the way through college and life.
Regardless of what one believes we are not all created equal and no law in the land can dictate that.

Don't sue God. There are children out there who think God didn't give them a parent. I think you'll find one of them.

If I may disagree, she was given a sponsor's exemption, which goes to anyone the sponsor's feel would either impact the gate totals and tv advertising, or be a friend who they owe a favor (like a low handicap friend who's the president of a company) or maybe #300 on the money list who is being sponsored.

She didn't necessarily take some journeyman's spot. The guys who are there qualified for their slots.
(I do wish she had qualified, as to keep the wailing down, but that's me....)
