President Bush met today with Norwegian Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik in the Oval Office, and met with 8 members of the U.S. military who had been wounded in combat as he read his radio address. He presented the Commander in Chief Trophy to the Air Force Academy football team, and this afternoon made remarks to the press on the White House lawn as he left for Camp David. Enjoy your Daily Dose of DUBYA!!

"That Roger Simon article is good for the comments of the miitary, but I did not like the trial baloon of the DNC comments at the end. I hate it when the media does the DNC spin. "
I also hate it when the media inserts into an article all of the DNC's various talking points; however, in this particular article, these points were mentioned only so they could be shot down (forgive the pun)!
I particularly liked the fact that the article ended with the following quote:
"I was never more proud of my president," said another (military officer). "You had to have huge cojones to come in on that jet."

"I was HOPING that there would be pictures of W and Laura together today, since he went to Camp David, but alas, it was not to be........sigh........
Do you know if she was already there? I can't tolerate the thought of their being apart for a weekend!"
I'm not sure when she left; however, I do know that Laura will be with the President this weekend at Camp David!
Actually, I can't wait to see the two of them together at the Dinner on Monday night (thanks for the heads up Bushfanatic!) -- I hope FoxNews or C-Span plans to carry the event?!
I've got family coming in tomorrow so I'd better get to bed. Night all!
[FYI: It's OFFICIAL, the President filed his re-election papers today!! The BATTLE begins -- we must be ready to fight the Democrats to their political death!!!]

She was muttering something about "the people, the people, the people".......
Maybe the debauched one's muttering something about the President, or the Bushes, or the flightsuit!
(Can you imagine how insane he is that this MORAL, MARRIED President is considered to be sexier than he was??.....though anyone who thought HE was sexy has a few screws loose!)

It's a pleasure to check into the Dose tonight instead of catching up the next morning. So glad you were able to pitch in tonight, Ohio.

The State Dinners are usually on C-Span live.......though you have to be able to stomach the leftwing commentary that goes with it.
That's where I saw that wonderful, touching, affectionate hand-holding scene at the first state dinner! Sigh......
Well, it's bedtime! Goodnight, all! It's been FUN!

it's such a burden to have to look at all these pictures of the President and post them! Such suffering It's nasty work, but somebody's got to do it. We all appreciate your sacrifice so here's your medal! Evening all.

It IS rather amusing to think of that vain, arrogant, narcissistic twit in agony about OUR President's popularity, isn't it??
I revel in the thought! Goodnight, MEG!

Thank you, Kay. I've been meaning to tell you that my sister-in-law is safely back home. I told her how many people in cyberspace were praying for her and she was overwhelmed.

The best part - the 2 people who helped that happen for the President were DEMOCRATS. That's the real reason McAwful is so upset about it. One of them commented, "the President shouldn't be embarassed by having to be a write-in candidate".

Yes, I'm great and you deserve that medal. Come to think of it, Rintense deserves it too! Just read all your posts about Eric. Hugs to you and Mr. OWF. I am also off to bed very soon, but couldn't resist checking for pictures of W first.
To: Carolinamom
Did you know the media spiked her column! Rush said today - it's not printed in one single paper. Scary!

CA democrat - Sec of State - submitted a bill to statehouse to allow the President to be on ballot. Art Torres, CA DNC supported the bill. One of them said, "the President shouldn't be embarassed by having to be a write-in candidate".
McAwful went ballistic!!
But ... my conclusion is that some dems are being put off by the over the top hatred for the Bush admin.

Tony Snow went on a flight too, and said he was very wobbly when he got off.......goes to show what a MAN our President is Well, to be fair, I doubt the S-3 pilot tried to make the President sick. Fighter jocks been known to do that to the uninitiated. Plus the S-3 is not in any way comparable to the F-16 or F-18. The AF shoud take the Pres up in an F-15D or -E. Probably drive the SS crazy, but I guess they could put one of their guys into the wingma's bird. I bet the SS guy would get sick before the President. :)
