"All I wish is that everyone here could express some measure of compassion for the victim and demonstrate some outrage at the police brutality"

I feel bad for the victim and her family. I also feel bad for those soon to be caught up in the charges of "police brutality" being made by Fat Al Sharpton and yourself. A tragic mistake does not equal deliberate brutality.

A tragic mistake does not equal deliberate brutality.

You insist on missing the point. Smashing down doors and flash-banging invites tragic consequences, not mistakes.

If the courts would restore the protections outlined in the 4th amendment, then we could expect some measure of safety. SWAT squads and/or ESU teams or whatever euphemism is used to cloak the true nature of licensed thugs are an abomination.
