He definatley well grounded, the man is the real deal, with the background to back it up, thats why I wouldn't consider him a normal guy.

Should be entertaining and a refreshing change of pace to see Neil Cavuto host O'Reilly tonight.

.."Spanish Language FR.."
Have you noticed how often the "Fox News" crew "Keys on" FR Threads for their "Topics?"
I Hardly Ever need to check FR for Current "Topics for Discussions," 'cause Fox News seems to have "appropriated" current FR "Threads" for on-air discussion!
I'm SURE that I'm naieve, but I think that "Fox News" uses FR for it's "Discussion Points!"
I have YET to see a " Topic" on Fox News that hasn't first appeared on FR!
I'm SURE my observations are PURE COINCIDENCE!!

Watch Greta twice as hard to make up for me, would you please? I can't stand her voice or the tendency of her show to be about the 'OJ de jour.' Not every murder in the country is spellbinding.

And someone needs to kick off a Spanish language Free Republic. We need to shake things up a little. Now that's an interesting idea! And maybe a Spanish language Fox News Channel...

Greg Kelly's reporting during the war in Iraq was simply awesome!

I can't stand her voice or the tendency of her show to be about the 'OJ de jour.' Not every murder in the country is spellbinding. I agree about Greta and her panels of lawyers and ex-detectives, endlessly discussing those murder trials, etc. That's when I switch to Scarborough on MSNBC. But during the war in Iraq and now, when she discusses topics about our military, foreign policy and/or terrorism, she's very good, IMHO.

FOX is really proud of the fact that they draw perhaps the most informed viewer ever. They expect us to understand, and we do, the complex world situations and they can concentrate on just telling us what's happening. That makes it a great experience for FOX and for us.

He's a former marine, off the bat, that gives him credibility with me.

Greg's dad, Commissioner Kelly, was also a Marine.
From his bio:
http://www.nyc.gov/html/nypd/html/brass/pc.html "A combat veteran of the Vietnam War, Commissioner Kelly retired as a Colonel from the Marine Corps Reserves after 30 years of service."

I am a woman and I agree with your wife. I try to never miss Greta's show. She is an excellent interviewer. Well prepared, gets right to the point, and maintains control. Her plastic surgery threw me at first but now I'm comfortable with the 'new' Greta.

Joe Scarborough's un-PC, humorous approach to politics is a refreshing contrast to Greta's show.
Ever since the OJ fiasco, which launched Greta's TV career, endless legal wrangling and speculation completely turns me off.
During the war, though, I taped her show every night for the great military analysts she had on.

I wouldn't consider Kelly a regular guy, his father is police commishoner here in NYC.And his father is a big time Democrat, too, right? You'd never know Greg Kelly's politics though because he left them out of his excellent reporting. That's what the "regular" network anchors and reporters just can't do.
