My box does not have a recipe for chicken and dumplings, I just checked. It has easy chicken pot pie, strawberry shortcakes, velvet crumb cake, Impossible Cheeseburger Pie and oven-baked chicken(where bisquick is the coating).

I am going with the Better Homes cookbook recipe.

We buy the BIG size box of Bisquick. It has lots of recipes on it. Does just say "Dumplings" not chicken and dumplings. Here's what it says:

DUMPLINGS

Prep time: 2 min - Cook time: 20 min

2 cups Original Bisquick - 2/3 cup milk

STIR ingredients until soft dough forms

DROP by spoonfuls onto boiling broth, reduce heat

COOK uncovered 10 min. COVER and cook 10 min. 10 dumplings.
