While I am not ready to believe that that Mouser guy was framed, I have got to agree with Ray here about lie detector tests. In my opinion, they are a sophisticated tool by which police sometimes psych people into spilling their guts. To me, lie detector tests are nothing more than that. All the cards are stacked in favor of your INTERRROGATORS. And that's what they are: interrogators.
In fact, the lie detector guy first gets you to tell a "lie" so he can supposedly "get a reading" on how your body reacts when you lie. Now, if MPD had gotten admissions out of Scott using something like a lie detector, and Geragos had said "voodoo", I would have had to agree with Geragos.
Scott was smart if he didn't take a lie detector--nothing more. It surprises me, since most of what I've known of Scott doing has been dumb.
