To: Canadian Outrage
I don't understand ANYONE who could be indifferent to THIS case.

I agree; however, there are people who are indifferent, to the point they don't even show any interest....they don't want to hear about negative stuff, so they are like ostriches and bury their heads in the sand. I guess they just think, "well, it doesn't concern me, personally, and it's depressing news, ugly news, so I don't like to listen to that kind of stuff." I have heard people say that, about this case, about other events. I have no respect for people like that. I'm sorry, but ignoring things doesn't make it go away. Ignoring things doesn't make you a better person. Ignoring things doesn't fill you with a passion to try to be better to others who are around you...show them appreciation, feeling thankful that this didn't happen to someone you know. At least, that's how I feel about it, why people should show at least some interest in all events in our country.

Yes, I also know a lot of people who say stuff like that--"I don't like to read about depressing things like that. I prefer to concentrate on positive things."

Most of them are real estate agents.
