giving illegals would be a step in the right direction of controlling the underground economy, since banks under the direction of the federal government, monitor money transfers.

when i go to the super or to wal-mart especially, all i see is illegals paying with $100.00 bills. this means that there must be a huge underground economy.

i would support an income sales tax to replace the i.r.s., or at least most of the i.r.s. get the i.r.s. out of our lives, and at the same time, make illegals pay their share.

illegals pay some taxes--those on purchases. but they should be paying more and the way to do it would be the national sales tax.

the democrats would be against it because it would "unfairly" place the burden on the "poor". but what do the democrats actually do for the working class or poor?

I don't want ANY Illegal paying any taxes in any economy, underground or otherwise, in my country. These foreigners need to be building a better society and paying taxes in their own heartland.

I told my next-door neighbor (UAA grad [Flight Instr] from Chile) that before he'll be satisfied with his life back in the homeland he truly loves, he may have to do what my forefathers had to do ... fight a damn revolution -- spend some blood.

But, I explained to him, he would undoubtedly feel better about himself personally if he "... bought guns and ammo up here where it's legal, then take them back down to his homeland and apply himself to whatever struggle is necessary in order to pry the heel of tyranny off the neck of the people he loves. But don't simply hang around up here in the USA and parasitically SUCK OFF OF US -- that will only complicate our own continuing struggle for freedom."

He heard me, but I doubt I changed his 25yr old Socialist-lovin' mind.

As American citizens we MUST become pro-active ... join together and work to identify the Illegals, then demand they be given a permanant one-way ticket back to the homeland where they belong.

And we especially need to identify the local employer/wage-busting profiteers, and their public sector counterparts, the 'Welfare/Poverty-Pimps' (at Catholic Social Services etc) who rake in the big $$$ administering govmnt programs, enjoying comfortable salaries & pensions while promoting programs supporting the Illegal Criminal Invaders.

We must expose every last one of them for what they are ... then see how well they enjoy living around town.

You have no idea. I was at a friend's car dealership one Saturday after growing season ended last year in South Florida. A Mexican farm hand (I'm assuming he was the supervisor or recruiter) walked in with a brown paper bag full of money. He said with his accent "I want that F-250 Superduty" over there. The salesman said ok, it's $51,300 as equipped plus tax (or something like that). Then the Mexican said "there's about $60,000 in the bag. Count out what you need and I'll be back in a few hours to sign everything and pick up the truck".

I'll tell you know it will do nothing to control anything. SO please, don't fall for this trap. These people know that if they participate in the banking system that they are trackable. They will not do it. This is just more feel good politics from our alleged conservative President to his buddy Vicente Fox.
