Just a little story about "illegals" and the economic impact on the average U.S. citizen.

I have a friend who was a nurse for 14 years. She was highly qualified and making an excellent salary of around $52,000 per year working at various hospices and retirement communities as a contract R.N. up and down the West Coast of Florida. One night at around 9 p.m. she left a restraunt in Sarasota, FL and started driving north on US 41 (7 lanes wide at that point). A drunk Mexican pulled out of a bar at high speed, swerved three lanes across and hit her head on.
Her left foot was crushed and she suffered numerous internal injuries. Needless to say she can not stay on her feet for any length of time, thus her career is pretty much shot. She used up all of her medical and auto insurance benefits in the 4 surgeries she had. But that's not the part that will infuriate you.

The Mexican blew a .18 and of course was arrested for DUI. His family bailed him out and he was found guilty and ordered to pay restitution. To avoid going to jail, his family paid the first $2,000 installment then guess what? That's right, they dissappeared. Her attorney did some research and get this....
He got the lisence illegally by using a friend with a similar name who already had a false insurance card and to get his registration also. He was in the country illegally. He had no record of every paying FICA or Income tax according to the court documents but his wife, mother and brother were all collecting Social Security and WIC benefits.

So Mr. Bush, just how important is it to so the seeds of the next Civil War in our country? The giving of any freedoms or benefits to illegal aliens will sow the seeds in a bitter and someday violent way. Many of us can see that coming, and wonder why this is being allowed to happen.

This sad story needs more circulation. America is being robbed blind by Illegal Aliens and many thousands of Americans, like your friend, each year, have become victims of this government sponsored invasion from Mexico. Thanks for sharing this story.

What a sad, sad story. Sorry to hear of your friends loss.

I believe you are right on by saying we are rapidly being pushed toward another Civil War all across this country by a government forcing Legal Citizens into having to constantly put up with the disrespecful, arrogant, in-your-face attitudes of Illegal Aliens who are flooding our communities, stealing our jobs and opportunity with no apparent respect for, or desire to assimilate into our culture.

It appears to be only about take, take, take, and demand, demand, demand ... and it is all expected to be delivered in their own language.

This foreign pressure during a period of economic downturn is a certain recipe for violent backlash.

I have personal knowledge of what it feels like to be standing in line, applying for a decent paying job that I really needed at the time, only to witness ILLEGALS sneaking around the back door of the Contractor.

I sincerely did not like the feelings that came up.

As to your question WHY would Pres.Bush allow all these factors to continue to develope ???

Very simply, because he has never really worked a REAL day in his life getting his hands dirty. He's never had to worry about making the mortgage payment to keep his family together.

I like the guy and respect him for how he handles his personal/family life, and of course our National Defense Policy ... BUT ... let's be honest here, he's led a pretty damn pampered life and has now chosen to surround himself and his Presidency ONLY with people who are $$benefiting$$(read FREE TRADE Big-Wigs) from shipping our decent-paying American manufacturing jobs over to desperate 3rd World situations (in order to reap ENORMOUS profits for the top guys), and then looking the other way while a FLOOD of ILLEGALS continue to stream across our borders and into our communities to compete for the diminishing jobs and wages left behind.

It seems the only Americans and their families who see the light are the ones who have been directly, negatively impacted by these greedy and selfish domestic government policies.

The rest of the 'still-haves' must feel economically insulated from any future negative consequences. Hmmmm?
