They were never funny.
Seems now it's rather "acceptable" to tell on somebody who is a threat to the country.
Back then, she was doing the right thing by doing the same. I never thought it was funny to ridiculte somebody who was doing the "right" thing.
And now we put whistle-blowers on the cover of national magazines. It's disgraceful.

Tripp should have been in the Time Magazine Person of the Year edition honoring whistleblowers. Have you checked out the FR link to her site?
