Putting the laughable left-wing crud aside (which I have no problem doing under the heading "Would that mine enemy had written a book"), this is one of the most tightly written, best paced shows on TV.

I watched Sports Night for a season or two until I gave up entertainment TV (except for Star Trek) altogether. It was pretty well written, though PC, too. I never even gave West Wing a chance.
