Interesting quote, in that Clinton had NO thoughts that the budget deficit could be dealt with in his terms of office, and that Clinton twice vetoed welfare reform, which was pushed through by Republicans, and only finally signed it when Dick Morris told that he had to do it or he might lose the 1996 election.
