President Bush began his day with a few diplomatic calls to foreign leaders thanking them for their support in Iraq. Bush then welcomed South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun to the White House, where they discussed a nuclear-free Korean peninsula. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Mr. South Korea has a very expressive face and manner. Some of these pics just beg a caption.

I'm a night owl too. That's why the night shift has been so easy for me. Going to days is going to be a very rude awakening, not to mention more work for less money. I got you all beat, I don't usually get up until 4 or 4:30 in the afternoon! Of course, I don't get to bed until 8:30-9:00 a.m.

Hope you feel better soon. I had to lie down at work for awhile to get rid of a nasty migraine. Now I'm getting my son off to school before I can go to bed. Have a great day. Talk to you tonight.

I read through the post, but was exhausted. The short night of before finally caught up with me.. Am still livid. Apparently it was the state fire marshall's/mayor/governors present to the president. Did n't want him to be overwhelm by all out good wishes /sarcasm.

I'm wondering if there is anything legal we can do to the crew.
Still think the buck stops with the state committee. There were no restrooms available, no supervision of line, and many many many unused staff shirts. I'm sure the FFA group or senior government classes we stood in line with would easily have pitched in to help in exchange for getting to see the President. Potential young republican groups in their community now lost by the state committee.

And they wonder why we can't get folks elected.

Rather did a really great interview with the pilots. I was really surprised.

We had some major storms at my house last night that knocked out the satellite for a while, so I had tuned into local networks to get some weather updates & landed on this interview. That's my excuse for watching Dan Rather.

I am so impressed with these guys and how they handled themselves while in captivity. The interview revealed so much more about what they were feeling and experiencing during that time. I cried a few tears as they told their story.

I will EVEN watch Rather, if I know one of our troops home from Iraq is going to be on.

The interview with the guys was just great---Rather let them do most of the talking. When asked what they prayed for, I was touched at what the first one said: "That God would take away my fear." Wise thing to pray at a time like that!

Obviously, God was listening to their prayers & did protect them during their ordeal. They were right in the battle lines each time they were moved. Amazing!

And in this case, I thought Rather struck just the right respectful tone in the interview. I was impressed that he asked the "what did you pray for" question; but, of course, more impressed by their answers. Dan even seemed awed and moved by their stories.
