I will tell you so you will know the truth.
When my son died, my ex-husband took his car, which was registered in my name; he sold it without having the inspection that was due at the time of my son's death.
Unknown to me, the DMV put a hold on my driver's license until I cleared up the problem with the inspection -- and because there was a "hold" on renewing my driver's license, when I tried to move my registration from one county to another, they put me down as INACTIVE because my driver's license number showed up as invalid. In fact, when Registerd posted that "fact" that I was NOT A REGISTERED voter here on FR one night, thinking he'd make a fool out of me, I didn't even KNOW about the hold on my driver's license. It was cleared up within days. As it turned out, he was dead wrong.
Fred knows the truth, but when he has nothing else to add, he loves to keep bringing up a nasty incident that happened when my son died.
