I call resorting to vicious personal attacks childish

Do you think that calling the sitting president of the United States a traitor is a vicious personal attack?

Do you think we should all just sit here and let him post those vile remarks on this site and not say ONE word about it?

No. Absolutely not. You're missing the point entirely.

As I said, I disagree with TLBSHOW about Bush. I do. However, I also think that your methods of disagreement with him over the issue are childish and, most importantly, ineffectual. I was not trying to be argumentative, necessarily. I am simply saying that attacking someone is not the way to change his mind, and, on another point, it will not change any minds of the others who are reading this thread.

It doesn't matter if he attacked you first. You should have the guts to keep yourself above the fray, if possible. I'm not perfect and I don't always succeed, but at least I try, and when I don't, I apologize, as I did earlier.

Doesn't that sound rather reasonable to you?
