The Constitution doesn't mention one word about politics.

And neither does the Declaration of Independence from which my quote was taken. But, the latter document does speak of "just powers" and "consent" of the governed. How one can justly rule over a people who one has knowingly and willingly deceived is not immediately obvious.

Only the ignorant or disinterested will be deceived, and they don't care anyway.

You and I are not deceived by Bush's actions, nor are the Democrats, which is why they are desperate to try to pin the sunsetting of the AWB on him.
