Everyone who can read knows that you support the Clinton AWB ban, unless you said differently in your private e-mails to President Bush.
To: FSPress
Bush seems to be spot on with this one. This is a reasonable restriction. We can be proud that he is on our side when it comes to supporting the extension of this law. Did you put your flame suit on before you typed that?
It doesn't matter; the Democrats are crying because the extension doesn't seem likely to pass, even though the President says he supports it.

This is a reasonable restriction So you think the AG can ban any gun he wants to because it's not considered adequate for "sporting purposes".
Cause guess what, that's in the new bill.

You have NEVER seen me post that I support that ban. I have plainly said on this very forum that I disagree with it.
What I don't support is people like you distorting the facts and getting your A$$ all in an uproar over something that isn't even going to happen.

How could I convince you since I've never even spoken to you?
Or are you one of those people who have to read other people's words to make up their mind's what they think, too?

Really, I keep hearing voices in my head saying "just believe." Now I find out that you are speaking over the internet.

One thing that is clear about Bush: he wants to be and likes to be underestimated.
He said he would support the renewal of the current legislation. You can bet that if any legislation does make it through Congress, it will be more restrictive. Bush can then look at it and say: this is not what I agreed to.
To: xbar
Sorry. I wrote the president. I didn't have to WRITE you.

Now's a good time to point out that you guys have probably spent more time discussing this bill than Congress will. Just what don't you guys understand about DOA?

You have my reply to that; sorry it doesn't satisfy you.Ya...I know, you heard it on some TV show.
BTW, was that quote of YOURS about the Constitution Party sourced AND a direct quote?
That wasn't a quote at all, that was merely me getting confused with numbers and later immediately admitting my mistake when it was brought to my attention by Dane. Hardly the same thing as you making up quotes attributed to the NRA president.
Don't be asking ME for something YOU did't provide until called on it.
I know you'll never be able to provide a direct quote. It reminds me of the time when you talked about all of your NRA friends who agreed with the Clinton Assault Weapons Ban. You can deny that if you want.....but I'm certain I can find the thread where you said it.
To: discostu
That's a most excellent question.
