Guns don't kill, bullets do.

And I, unlike some on this thread, told you exactly what I heard and who said it.

It's not my fault you don't believe it.

I am not your enemy.

Yes, you are.

I asked if you support the ban.

I'm only this far into the thread (#108), but howling obviously supports the Clinton AWB ban. Chuck Baldwin was right.

Let's hope it never gets to the president's desk and Delay can kill it in the house....because you know who would sign it.

Even the new president of the NRA says this is a tempest in a teapot, egged on by extremist.

Source and direct quote please.

You have my reply to that; sorry it doesn't satisfy you.

BTW, was that quote of YOURS about the Constitution Party sourced AND a direct quote?

Don't be asking ME for something YOU did't provide until called on it.

LOL... I heard one of them got arrested... what was that all about?

She is a democrat house member in Texas and decided not to go with her chicken brethren to Oklahoma. I believe that under the Texas constitution that any member of their legislature can be arrested for dereliction of duty, which she was and she was escorted back to the Texas House to fulfill the job she was elected for.

Now you're distorting.

I told YOU in #219 exactly what I told you when you asked me LAST time.

It's not my fault you can't remember what I said.

"I didn't fight to see George Bush elected in 2000"

How did you "fight"?

Isn't it funny that whenever Bozo Boy gets pummeled, his wife, Frederica comes along to soothe the owie-boo-boos?

True love is a splendor, no????

Yes, they all DO know where I stand, because I, unlike you, am NOT a dishonest poster.

Even if he signs it, I don't think it'll do him or his party any harm. His base is solid, and that includes many gun owners who are of the opinion that this is not a ban that really matters. A tweak here, a tweak there and it's no longer an 'assault weapon'.

Admittedly, no manufacturer should have to jump through those hoops, but unless gun owners want the revolution to begin here and now, there's no way around it. The votes are not with the voluble gun lobby.

They need to rustle up some very good spokesmen and completely revamp their PR machine. They need new blood to convince the voting population of the efficacy and necessity of the 2nd Amendment.

And don't bother running to the Constitution for aid and comfort. Hardly any voters know or appreciate its sacrosanctity. And I've yet to run into a 'special interest' group that isn't willing to turn a blind eye to some Constitutional contravention, if it meets with their approval on some issue they don't seem to be as attached to the Constituion on.

There is no such thing as a 'pure bred' Constitutionalist.

Not only that, I was told today by a poster that I shouldn't be so upset with it because it cannot comprehend the English language.

I have written to the president with my opinion, not that that is any of your business.
