Oh, I see... Executing three people in Cuba for stealing a boat is not "agressive"?

No, you see that was our fault and Castro had to nip it in the bud.

The U.S. government's expulsion of 14 Cuban diplomats is an "aggressive step" aimed at provoking a confrontation between the two countries, the Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.
Not aggressive enough.

But it's a start.

"Cuba will take the time necessary to respond to this new provocation by the government of the United States," the Foreign Ministry statement said.

Translation: This caught us off guard and we don't know what to do about it.

It seems like we're always provoking those poor communist Cubanos.

This seems to be an unusually strong response from Fidelito. That means that one or more of these guys was involved with something especially nasty. Cubans in the US would make especially good paymasters for terrorists that have come across the Mexican or Canadian borders.

hehheh. Seriously. this and we pull our diplomats from Saudi the same day. And Bremer says we're gonna shoot looters to make examples out of them. Anybody else think we're reminding the world who won the war today?

I expect Cuba to expel a corresponding number of American diplomats, if there are that many in Havana.

Btw, Castro has intimated that he might open the flood gates of another massive exodus to relieve some of the political pressure on his regime.

President Bush has said he will consider such exodus an act of war.

Cuba-US relations remind me of a Mexican standoff

That reminds me of a game I've been meaning to play here:

NAME THAT DICTATOR!

Who are these guys? Saddam? Doubles? or somebody else. Name the dictator.

If we are provoking Cuba, what do they plan on doing about it?

Fox isn't a dictator. Mexico's congress if filled with Marxists and most town mayors are too. Fox broke that trend with his presidential victory. What, you want an instant republic?
