Hey little darlin', Osama didn't mean for them to wait until AFTER Iraq had its A$$ KICKED by the "invaders of Iraq". The timing of that message implied that BEFORE or, maybe even DURING, Osamadude might consider this, as relates to Iraq, to be TOO FREAKING LATE!...thank you very much.

If only Rummy could snap his fingers and make Maureen go away. Maybe Howell Raines will bite the big one as Editor in Chief of the Times. If so, Dowd could go down in flames as a fringe result. We can hope, can't we?

Thank you for posting the actual quote by President Bush, I had heard it and I thought Dowd was using dots (...) to create a lie. Your posting of the complete quote makes that clear.

If the Times applied any journalistic standards, it would print a correction on the Dowd column and suspend her for a time. But then, if they had any standards, Rianes and Dowd would have been fired long ago for incompetence.
