And if the Bush administration wants to learn how to rebuild the nation of Iraq, they might ask their predecessors how to go about it.

I have no words for this man's lies.

Damn....this would be a great time to post an email I received a while back, about all the military defenses that Clinton cut, but I can't find the damn thing. If anyone has it, post it!

The Clinton administration also invested heavily in the technology that gave the on-scene commanders a much more vivid picture of the battlefield than a decade ago.

Sorry, R&D and procurement dollars were cut during the Clinton Administration. Much of this article is simply fantasy.

He fails to point out that it was Cinton's policies that caused us to need a victory in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Also, it's not just the weapons, it's how you use the military, how you support them, how you lead them, etc.

I saw this article in the Globe this AM during an airline flight. Truly amazing.

According to this guy, clinton raised military spending and Bush cut it. Yeah, right.

Much of this article is simply fantasy.

Much of what the globe prints is pure fantasy. No big surprise.

Wow. Mindboggling. Go ask the poor Haitians, who, for all practical purposes, suffer under anarchy, thanks to Bill Clinton's "nation-building."

I wonder if the dirtbag who wrote this would be willing to admit that it was Clinton's economic policies which led to the current economy.

This guy seems to love talking about ow much Clinton spent. Last time I checked, it was Congress that had the authority to spend, not the President......

Hey, great - that means the Globe is going to start to give credit for the great economy during the Clinton regime to where it belongs - the Reagan administration! Right?

Uh...where'd everybody go?

Whatever. It was Bush that actually made the commitment to do it.

Yes, certainly we must thank Bill Clinton -- the one who was in charge when the Pentagon had so little budget that spare parts had to be taken from one aircraft to make another airworthy. Clinton did his best to destroy the military, and he and his bitchy wife made no bones about it.

The only regret at the Pentagon is that they didn't go through with their rumored "coup" when Clinton was too busy in his sexcapades to take care of the nation's business.

Li'l Larry Korb is best known for his obsessive opposition to national missile defense.

He hates SDI with a white-hot passion.
