Acutally they are kinda shy. They come around if they don't see you. On that one, when I saw him so close, I grabbed my camera and stepped out on the patio. As you can see he heard or sensed me before I could take the second picture.
Coyotes eat small pets so you must keep your small pets inside and your larger pets fenced.
