Here are some iris's we inherited when we bought our current house. This is several years old...

This is also home of the "infamous" poison oak that brought me here!

The poison oak was a blessing in disguise - at least 'we' were blessed you got it. What are the little pink bell-like flowers beside the irises? I like those!

Pretty flowers, and an interesting color too. I like Iris, but mine didn't do very well this year. I have a few purple-blue ones. They have only been in the ground for a couple years, I think they will do better once they are established.

Here are some snapdragons that probably won't be around much longer. It is getting a bit too hot for them. They are pretty while they last though.

Your Iris's are lovely. I love Iris's, reminds me of my childhood...my Dad who was not really much into gardening planted the most beautiful purple Iris's. The house I grew up in was sold, I have friends who still live next door, so I visit 14th street frequently :-) When I see those Iris's in bloom, puts a big smile on my face :-)

Beautiful yard! I saw some irises in Tenn. the other day that were a combination of gold and burgundy.

Iris has to be one of the most elegant flowers. Second only to orchids.

When I was a floral designer (in a previous life - did custom designs for 11 years 1978-89) the iris was one of my favorite flowers to work with.
