Talk about a Mickey Mouse move by Disney -- hooking up with Michael Moore.

Michael Moore is now taking money from a large corporation to finance one of his "documentaries." What happened to his so-called crusade against big business and all the evils it engenders. I can't wait for the new Disney ad featuring Moore as its poster boy for going to Disney Land.

Disney is quickly becoming the caricature of the phrase "Mickey Mouse".

Michael Eisner, Disney CEO, continues to make some obscene amount of money annually, and the projects under his management of Disney have largely been atrocious (did anyone actually see "Treasure Planet"?). I don't know how long Eisner, who clearly is sympathetic to leftist politics, can continue to drive the company into the ground and still hang on as CEO.

Disney has suffered some serious marketing errors in recent years, and has taken a financial bath on several ventures. Teaming up with Michael Moore would likely not cause them to fold and leave the entertainment industry. But it is somewhat surprising that Disney corporate management would intentionally take one in the foot.
This is going to be treated like the prospective Janeane Garafalo "sit-com". Die a-borning.

Michael Moore is a member of the Indie Community.

What is the name of the movie and when is it due out? All you Disney stockholders had better contact Disney HQ about their working with Michael Moore; the man is a propagandist and an idiot. He makes his money just like everyone else who works for a corporation except he lies about that fact and his brand of activism and anti-Americanism is at best extrinsic boycott all who fund and or produce films for this unlikable person. Make him toast! Boycott anything he touches!

Lets not forget this is the man who foisted Canadian Bacon on an unsuspecting public. I don't understand why anyone would give money to the guy who directed that turkey.

Don't forget other Moore gems like "TV Nation" and "Bowling for Columbine". I would say that Michael Moore has lost his mind, but one must first possess one!!!!!!!!

It stands to reason they would hook up with Moore, after all he just produced an oscar-winning fairytale...

It's all about Eisner. No way Walt would've allowed this. Eisner has corrupted the Disney image and shifted it directly left. They hide under the Miramax label, in order to maybe fool some people. As someone who just handed Disney about $2000 two months ago in Orlando, I feel mixed about it all. The parks still maintain a family friendly image (except on Gay Day) and are experiences children will remember forever, and for the most part, they provide wholesome entertainment, and of course ESPN. You cannot serve two gods, Mr. Eisner. Pick one and stick with it. Both will bring you riches, but only one will leave "an everlasting reward".

Miramax's Harvey Weinstein is a great FOB and FOH. You need look no further than that for Miramax's motivation in this.

It's a pity. I was looking forward to taking the kids to see FINDING NEMO. I hate to hurt Pixar Studios but there's no way Disney is getting my money now. Nor my mother's, nor my husband's, nor my brother's....
