Regarding letters to the editor, most legitimate newspapers go out of their way to identify people who post letters -- especially if they are overtly political, as was true in this case. The Sun-Journal is obviously a short step above a high school paper.

It's been a long time since I've read a "legitimate newspaper." Most are ecstatic to print any overtly political letter that comes their way---as long as it's anti-Bush, of course.
