I still find it amusing that high-end graphics cards cost more than some complete systems. Although in many cases the processor on the GPU is faster than the main CPU, so it sort of makes sense. But I'll survive with my 8500 for now.

You are using the term "complete system" rather loosely :) To me a system is not complete if the video card is so so :>
