Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Bob Graham of Florida yesterday accused the Bush administration of "covering up" information vital to protecting the country against future terrorist attacks.

"This administration has probably been one of the most secretive administrations in American history. And one of the areas over which they have thrown a particularly heavy blanket has been information about terrorism, including terrorism [against] the United States," Mr. Graham said on CBS' "Face the Nation."

"there were 170 to 199 'acts of global terrorism' in 2002.

"There were no acts of terror in the United States, the United Kingdom or Australia, designated as special targets for the wrath of such outfits as al Qaeda."

Amir Taheri. "Terror's Fall." New York Post, May 12, 2003.

And the reason is:
President
George W. Bush

The worthless, mendacious, meritricious Democrats are reduced to (1) lying and making up "facts" and false accusations, (2) shouting maledictions, or (3) praising President Bush and crying, "Me too!"

They have nothing to offer.

"The former chairman and now ranking member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence..."

How on earth did Bob Graham end up on a committee on Intelligence?

*Graham: We Had Same Info As Bush/Transcript of Interview With Sen. Bob Graham (D.-Fla.)

President Bush was in office less than 9 months on 911.

Sen. Graham had been in DC and on the Intel Committee how long? How long did it take to weaken our military?

Wonder if Sen. Graham's upset that Clinton waited until the day after the Electoral College elected George Bush President to demand new tough sanctions on the Taliban if they didn't hand over Bin Laden in 30 days (just in time for GW's Inaugeration)?

So much mischief unreported, so few honest mainstream reporters and Democratic Senators.

Rep. Porter Goss, the Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee (and a former CIA analyst,) also wants this report released.

"so few honest mainstream reporters"

And what a difference it would make if the newsmedia reported truth rather than "Liberal"/Democrat propaganda.

But some of the world's most violent terrorists, Mr. Graham said, remain in the "cesspool" of Syria, which should be the next target of military action if its terrorist camps aren't cleared.

This from a man who did not support, or even vote for the war on Iraq. Do you think Graham and his dem buddies would support a war against Syria? Yea right! I must admit I'm surprised though: it looks like the dems are actually recycling the 'Bush new' nonsense of about a year ago. They really are desparate and lack in anything that could be considered new in ideas.

If Bob Graham thinks accusations such as these will catapult him into the White House, he's actually more stupid than Carol Mosley Brown and Dennis Kucinich combined.

Release the report. Investigate and release all the info from the 90s (and 80s and 70s as well) - what we know Sen. Graham knew before President Bush ever got to DC. Put all the unclassified info out.

To imply that this President allowed, by intent or neglect, the terrorist acts of 911 is low even for a Democrat.

To blame this administration for the actions of Osama Bin Laden and pals on 9-11, while giving the UN, EU, DNC (press, NGOs - VLWC) a pass is truly inviting WWIII. Would they stoop this low? Would anyone be surprised?
