yeah, right!

i was overweight myself until one day i decided, it's what you put in your mouth, and how much you exercise.

most overweight people cannot blame their condition on medical circumstances, as you report.

i'm fed up with the doorway-challenged people that blame this or that for their excesses.

believe me, the u.s. health care system, as you're aware, not in the best condition now, will IMPLODE in the near future. (excluding a breakthrough in an "obesity drug", by the pharmaceuticals.)

i had a college nurse tell me that she regularly sees teens and 20's-aged students with blood sugars of 600+. she's appalled. normal is 70-120.

"adult onset" diabetes has migrated down to people in their 20's, teens, and now even children. increased heart attacks, strokes, blindness, and amputations are the result of this disease. watch in 5 years or so, and the politicians are going to be screaming bloody murder when the results of this fattening up of america hits the health care system!

the facts are people cannot eat what's advertised on tv and lead sedentary lives.

Your last sentence is true enough. However, I learned early in life that weight is much more than how much a person has on the fork and how often. You are weight phobic because of your past so you have no business passing judgement on others who have not reached your state of understanding. Sadly, you have much more to learn about the issue. I feel very sorry for you.
