Let's go back to good old palm oil, tallow, and lard. Not a single trans fat in any of those.

I tried a tub of one of those "healthy" non trans fat margarines. Called Smart Balance or something like that. It's hardened with palm oil. It doesn't taste all that bad going down but the aftereffects are like that of having consumed axle grease.

Nothing wrong with a little butter. No trans fat in real butter.

I LOVE Mexican food with lard in it. Tortillas, tamales, etc. all taste much better with lard.

Real food tastes better with real ingredients. Taste a chocolate chip cookie made with margarine, then taste one made with butter. There's no comparison.
