Mr Blair has secretly agreed to share sovereignty of Gibraltar with Spain in return for Madrid's support for the war in Iraq
According to the Sunday Express, the deal was stitched up at the summit meeting in the Azores attended by the British and Spanish leaders and President Bush before hostilities began.

I have no interest at all in empire, people in the uk just dont imho
What is overwhelmingly important is the wishes of the inhabitants. If they voted to be spanish, then my blessing.
But you DONT sell brits out, if blair was prime minister in 82, the falklands would now be the malvinas no doubt
i will never vote for him in my lifetime (altho im a tory anyway lol)

They are more loyal to our queen and country than many brits

Don't fall for it, Tony. Call their bluff.
The Muslims claim Andalusia, and the Spanish know it. (Muslims claim all lands ever held by Islam. Islam is an imperialist conspiracy.)
The Spanish had a hard enough time cleansing the Iberian Peninsula of Muslims. They couldn't do it today, and they know it.

Come to think of it, the Muslims probably claim southern France up to Poitiers and southeastern Europe up to Vienna. I wonder if Jacques Chirac knows this. Maybe he doesn't care.
