Dade County Teacehr's Union ..... corrupt?
Nahhhhhhhhhhh.
Next ou'll try tellin' me that the washington DC Teacher's Union is corrupt and has corupt (democratic) leaders who used teacher dues for personal property.
(And we ALL know that only the rich, evvvvvvvvvvvvvvviiiiiiiiiiiilllllllllllll republicans are corrupt and money-grubbing media whores.)
Democrat public sevants are nice, friendly, loving, compassionate, multi-culteral, honest, moral courageous people who hate money-grubbin' rich people that want to steal from the(poor) teachers with their tax proposals.

A five-night stay at The Pierre Hotel in New York City that cost the union $8,671.98. A $1,400 spa visit at the Silverado Resort in Napa Valley, Calif.
A $4,158 shopping spree at Silvio Bresciani clothing in New York.
$1,525 in merchandise from Wayside Antiques in Reddick, Fla.
This sounds remarkably like something one would win on a game show. I can just picture Bob Barker announcing these winnings.

I must admit that the accusations seem terribly in character with what prevails in unions generally and state-wide teachers unions in particular. The old adage (I believe by Lord Acton) that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely remains a true observation of the human condition.
As an aside, the name James Angleton, Jr. rings a bell - was his father the famous counter-intelligence director of the CIA who was so widely derided for suspecting moles in that organization but later to be proved horribly accurate. Is he, Jr. the whistle-blower, the son of the CIA deputy director? Or is this just a rambling by right-wing idiot (me)?
