This is still aiding and abetting inasmuch as their actions cause continuation of the squatters' presence. They ought to be locked up. The new 'Rat Governess is a disgrace.

I wonder if she takes her oath of office seriously? I can only presume that it still includes the promises to follow the Constitutions of both the state and the United States and thus is she not shirking her duties as the chief executive officer of her state? Is she not the head of law enforcement in her state and thuis required to carry out enforcement of its laws and pertinent Federal laws? Perhaps a writ of mandamus is in order here?

"They come in here, they can't afford to feed their kids pay rent cover their health with what they make."

So the taxpayers need to pick up the rest, thereby allowing us to register them as DEMONCRATS right away, how else can a DEM win in a state as conservative as Arizona. DEMS MUST LIE to get elected.

She has sent a loud and clear message. She is leading by example. Liberals will cheer: and all those in and out of government will follow.

I'd like to know why a Catholic bishop is welcoming this pro-abort governor to a Catholic parish. Is it so important that he get her blessing on this program?

This is a problem.

I don't want to see anyone starve or suffer, that's not moral in the least and it can't be justified simply by virtue of their illegal status.

However, this is encouraging illegal behavior.. It's not a good idea.

We should feed them, put them on a bus and ship them out... And, imo.. save the most harsh penalities for the employers who try to cut corners by hiring them.

There are people who did the right thing, followed the rules and waited their turn to come here.. If we are going to be helping anyone, it should be them.

Yes, this new governess in Phoenix is a major reason that I no longer have much faith in the people of AZ. My faith in them began to nosedive in 1996, when they joined the rest of the crazy country to endorse Bill Clinton!

The article ponders:   "Many wonder how this is legal?"

Wonder all you want, it ain't legal.

It is a conspiracy to aid and abet a felony and a host of other crimes. If the Governor wants to give her blessing to those criminals, it doesn't mean the people have put up with her BS.

Every time a worker or illegal alien at "Casa San Juan" shows his face on the street, any person can make a citizen's arrest, handcuffing them and holding them for the local sheriff. After about the 500th arrest, the authorities will get tired of the game and close down "Casa San Juan".

Illegal immigration and all the costs that go with it are thrown in the faces of citizens who, if given a chance to vote for or against it, would vote overwhelmingly NO. Napolitano is the same as Davis of California, spitting in the faces of voters and taxpayers in order to further the hispanic agenda and open borders crap. George Bush has done the same thing. None of them care what we think once they get in office.

Governor Napolitano is a federalist pure and simple.

As a federalist, she will have no sympathic ear from Washington, D.C. to reimburse for the education, social service, hospital care as a result of her decision to support illegal activity. Are we not an already bankrupt state and I don't want to pay for even more fiscal mismanagement!

What that means folks-- it means that all residents of Arizona will have an even greater tax burden -- an exponential increase- taxation.

This will make Arizona less attractive to businesses, tourists and prospective residents.

Get ready folks for an unprecedented human and capital flight right here in River City, AZ (read "brain drain")-- let's get packing. I don't want to underwrite all these expenses.

And, just when you thought it could not get any worse, it does!

I ran a search on Bishop Gerald Kicani and can find nothing about him, St. Johns church here in Tucson, lists nothing about him; apparently he isn't on their staff. In fact this could be an Episcopal church - the article gives no addresses. I have e-mailed KVOA and maybe will find out something about the Bishop etc. Meanwhile, the Governor is on thin ice as to the laws of our state and the Federal Laws. She has a history of courting the reservations for their votes as well as the Mexican vote in AZ right or wrong. I have sent the article to Tancredo.

It was Janet who indicated (as Attorney General) that illegals could sue citizens who were protecting their property rights from illegals.
