Oops. Forgot to quote the original article that I was replying to, namely post number 8, which said:

"You need to spend more time reading the WORD.

Two separate incidents and no Lot did not offer his daughters to visitors.

Obviously you don't really care what our Heavenly Father says or you would not twist what was Written!"

So, I decided to quote the WORD right back at that person, showing that, indeed, Lot _did_ offer his daughters to visitors.

P.S. I'm an atheist, so no, I don't automatically give more importance to the opinions of the majority's favored supernatural entity as opposed to those of any other supernatural entity.

Since your focus is on what LOT supposedly did and supposedly did not do why waste your time reading it anyway.

Lot offered what was supposedly were "virgins" so how serious was his offer? Why did Lot offer the daughters, because of the "two Angels", he knew who sent them. Do you really think that those two ANGELS sent by our Heavenly Father was going to allow those daughters who were married really be savaged to a bunch of perverts he planned to destroy?

YOu in your search for equating what you consider equal sins lost the whole point of the event. Who walked away from Sodom. Somebody just looking back longingly at Sodom was turned into a pillar of salt, guess that missed your attention.

Now if you will read a little further on you will find what Lot's daughters did later on and maybe you might find what growing up in a place like Sodom does to ones mind and our Heavenly Father did not destroy them for what they in fact did do later.
