So they are rewarding her by another job in the State Dept.:
"She said her new position in Washington would be deputy director of the State Department's political-military division, which handles a wide range of security-related matters with other countries."
Gingrich is right, the State Department is in need of a real shake up.

America needs more than a State Department shakeup. To suggest the actual method would get me banned.

The real problem is that nobody in State knew, or nobody cared, that Arabs would consider it an insult to be ruled by a woman. Not that Arab ideas about women are anything we should admire, but this was a pretty stupid choice.

But, but...wasn't Colin Powell saying just the other day about how WONDERFUL and DEDICATED his State Department people were? That whole department - from Powell on down - should be cleaned out. What a mess!
