What Hypocrisy and Double Standard about Bush Landing on Carrier!
Friday, May 9th, 2003 | Rev. Raymond Kwong

I have had it! Can you believe the liberal Democrats are so desperate after the successful war that they had to stoop so low to make something out of President Bush's landing aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln? They claim to be worried about Bush using footage of this in a campaign commercial, but by bringing this up, they were counting on their liberal buddies in the Mainstream Media to keep replaying the images. It did, over & over again! It's like the relentless attacks over conservative Republicans like Sen. Rick Santorium (over his opposition to gay Marriage) and Bill Bennett.

I will tell you why, all the post-war polls came back predicting the losers will be the Democrats in the next Election. The liberals will likely lose 4 more Democratic Seats! Confidence in the GOP is at all-time high.

The left can't attack what Bennett wrote about "The Book of Virtues" (BTW great book to give it to your children), so they attack him about visiting casinos. Democrat columnist Matthew Miller in frustration, called this "evidence that a political party is losing its mind."

The same people who defended Clinton for illegal actions are suddenly moral crusaders, against gambling and waste of Taxpayers' money! Democrats & Republicans both have in recent years voted for gambling. Have you ever met a liberal Democrat that does not love a tax increase? Name him. You will be hard pressed to find one in say the last 20 years.

The strategy is simple: if you can't destroy the message, destroy the messenger. It's the politics of destuction that they CLAIM they are against. Guess what, they just BANG the door into their noses again.

Did you know that as commander-in-chief, Bill Clinton gave speeches on the USS John F. Kennedy , USS Theodore Roosevelt, and USS Independence! Three, not one military photo-ops! Which media and Republican made a fuss over it? Oh, did you forget how he loved photo-ops, he loved to be on camera at the funerals, and all over the world long after he left office, more so than any President of recent memory!

Mrs. Clinton used Air Force One as a jet for her campaign, for crying out loud! People died in three countries because Clinton used the military to distract from Lewinsky's testimony. Did any of these objective reporters tell you the other side of this non-story?

During & after the war, did you see Bush strutting around, rushing to take credit? No! So even if it's partly a photo-op, Bush deserve one photo-op for taking great risk to go after Saddam Insane while welcoming the troops home. Thanks to the liberals, more Americans get to see the beautiful sight on that Carrier.

Senator Robert Byrd (D-W.V.) is frustrated at the cost of Bush's landing on the carrier. Talk about self-exhaltation, and waste, are you ready? In her column on February 15th, Ann Coulter compiled a partial list of those items in West Virginia named after Robert Byrd. All these exist because Senator Byrd is the king of pork!

The Robert C. Byrd Drive, The Robert C. Byrd Highway, The Robert C. Byrd Locks and Dam, The Robert C. Byrd Institute, The Robert C. Byrd Lifelong Learning Center, The Robert C. Byrd Honor Scholarship Program, The Robert C. Byrd Green Bank Telescope, The Robert C. Byrd Federal Courthouse, The Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center ,The Robert C. Byrd United Technical Center, The Robert C. Byrd Hilltop Office Complex, The Robert C. Byrd Library The Robert C. Byrd Academic and Technology Center, The Robert C. Byrd Learning Resource Center The Robert C. Byrd Rural Health Center, The Robert C. Byrd Institute for Advanced Flexible Manufacturing...

What utter hypocrisy! It's one thing to get these built, but it's another to have so long a list of things named after you. Even Saddam Hussein would envy that!

READ today's (Sunday) Washington Post Editorial about the Prez' carrier visit. It's a real hoot & disses the Dems & accuses them of working for Karl Rove. HeeHee~ They said in effect that since the President had won a war, he could damn well meet the troops anywhere he pleased. Also, they said the real reason the Democraps are griped is because the PRESIDENT LOOKED GREAT, not like Dukakis in a tank. You all will get a real kick out of reading it.

The Dems ended up creating a briar patch for G. W.

Every time they got news coverage of their petty whining it was accompanied by the footage of G. W., C in C, Stud Muffin.

So their entire campaign backfired on them.

The President is The Commander in Chief. It is his job to keep the morale of the troops up. Enough said. Period.

Great pictures.

Every time the Dems criticize Bush, I think Fox should run the video of President Bush on the carrier, as they have been doing, and we post more pictures.

The more they criticize, the more people are reminded of the difference between a real leader and whiny, vicious Democrats with no real solutions to anything, so they are reduced to such pathetic criticism as attacking the Commander in Chief for daring to visit his troops after a war and to announce the remarkably successful conclusion of the war in an approriate setting: an aircraft carrier.
