A Congressional amendment that caused little stir in the United States has created an uproar in Mexico, where newspapers on Saturday accused American lawmakers of arrogance and even blackmail.
The measure narrowly approved Thursday by the House International Relations Committee says that any accord on immigration issues with Mexico should include an agreement to open Mexico's state oil company Pemex to U.S. investment.

Mexican "concerns" about the "US invasion of Iraq"? What about Mexican concerns about their own invasion of the US? Millions of them disrespecting our labor laws, immigration policy and border integrity. No Mexican concern at all about that. In fact, the Mexican government encourages it. They are in no position to criticize anybody else for "invasions."

Anything that upsets the Mexicans can't be all bad. Perhaps if they supported us with Iraq, we would have more of a problem with offending them.

As many of you know, I am vehemently opposed to illegal immigration. However, such a resolution, if pushed further, would be a declaration of war to Mexico. They are fanatical about their natural resources NOT falling under foreign control. If only we would think a bit more like they do about sovreignty, etc. Yes, I can understand that the above-mentioned resolution created a firestorm in Mexico.

Hopefully they are soooo incensed they never - never want to come here again.......

We ridicule the way Mexicans govern Mexico, but never ask whether they will be able to run California any better when they completely control it.

Considering that 10% of Mexico's population now lives here, we should just take over that garbage country and turn it into the beautiful place the countryside is begging to be.

would be a declaration of war to Mexico.Well, ...whats wrong with that? Let's see the Mexicans what they are made of'...bet only hot air and nothing else.
We should take that sh!t hole over and turn in to 51st state and get over with! All problems resolved at the border.
You know for a very long time, I have been silent about this, but now, I kinda get a little fed up with this south of the border bullsh!t. We are bending over trying to accomodate all of those ingrates crossing the border illegaly and further more accomodating their backwards and retarded lifestyle, and what we get is a slap in the face at all levels.
You know something...all those "pedejos" can kiss my butt, if they do not like the way, we, as a society operate.

No need. Half of kali is Mexican, and it has become a sewer. The Northern half is still in better shape.

Fine.....I agree with with the Mexicans...Pemex should not be open to foreign capital
And we have no business legalising the illegal cucarachas that hve bypassed our immigration system when many more in Mexico have been waiting patiently to do it legally.

Interesting you should mention war and Mexico.
One of the green card soldiers' family (read mom & multiple kids & no papa) came from my city. The local paper reported his brother was upset that he joined the Marines because if we ever go to war with Mexico he would have to fight his brother.

"Mexicans Outraged By Congressional Resolution"
If demonrats have their way, the Mexicans will be able to vote in any US election in about 3 or 4 more election cycles. So why be outraged?

Mexicans Outraged >>>>>>>
GOOD.....I just hope those in the USA are *outraged* enough
to GO HOME, & take their spanish with them.
If the *sly fox* is so outraged, maybe he should close HIS
northern border, and keep "his mexicans" in MEXICO !!

Could not have said it better! I worked with a Mexican (who became a US citizen) and she is the most anti-American and anti-white person I ever met.
To: MeneMeneTekelUpharsin
They are fanatical about their natural resources NOT falling under foreign controlYou are right. Their macho egos make them prefer that the wealth be stolen by their own homegrown politicians and union thugs who then, like other corrupt countries, blame all their problems on the USA.

Their resources are theirs to keep. I don't know what reason the House would have by a resolution like this.
