Why move the bases around overseas? Why not bring them home and defend our own borders for a change? I know this a revolutionary idea but it would conform to the original plan of operation called for by the Constitution.

I agree we need to defend our borders properly, which we are not. That is a shame. We were attacked on 9/11/01 and we are in the middle of our counter attack and need to shift our military machine to new targets.
