Well, I for one welcome these statements. They should be shouted from the minarets of every mosque on Earth. If the Muslims are to go forward in this world and get out of the 11th century, they need a huge reformation of their religion in regards to other beliefs. They cannot expect an armed struggle against us without a fight and hopefully an ass-kicking. Certainly we will not submit. Bush's actions in the War on Terrorism should encourage a more tolerant view in Islam. If not, then they will be oppossed and lose.

Actually, we would be ahead if they'd get back to the 11th Century. What we are facing are Islamists fired up by 18th and 19th Century European Socialist notions of governance.

Except for the Turkish conquests, and the Mongel conquests before and after them, the Arab Moslems were doing pretty good right up to the 11th century.
