No. I did not like him on MNF, specifically because his references were too intellectual (this coming from a university professor!).
Miller was too much with Al. Sometimes it was like Al didn't know whether the joke had its punchline yet or not. To tell the truth, my favorite football color guy---and he didn't last real long---was Bob Trumpy at NBC.
