I don't even want to THINK about what traffic is going to be like at nearby NAS Norfolk in the next few weeks. The majority of the Truman battle group comes home a week before the Roosevelt battle group. Throw in the Nassau amphib battle group that's due in around the same time and hoo boy is it gonna be fun there *L* Almost makes me glad that my husband's boat isn't due back till late June.

I've had to deal with Norfolk base traffic. Yuck! I lived 4 miles from the base and it would take me an hour to get to work because it was stop and go (mostly stop) traffic. That's something I don't miss.
