The balance between good and bad is the problem. Hitler did some good things. He put people to work and built the autobahn. For this, the German people paid a terrible price. Castro has surely done one commendable act but has done so many wrongs against the Cuban people that he is out of consideration for praise.

And wasn't the thing with Mussolini was that he got the trains to run on time? Never mind that there was crushing totalitarianism, no jobs, nowhere for those trains to go, and of course, no freedom, but they did get the trains to run on time.
