I hate to say it, but Rove is correct here. First of all, he's right that the renewal bill will
never make it out of the House. (Which, in effect, makes all of this a moot point). Secondly, he's right about the fact that we gun owners voted for Bush
despite the fact that he was explicit about
enfocing all existing gun laws during the campaign. The '94 so-called AWB is one of those laws.
Bottom line: When this law sunsets in 9/04, we're all going to be a happy lot. And it's going to happen.
