Anyone who thinks that there's no difference between the parties after the last 2 years of G W Bush's administration is smoking some very strange stuff. Anyone who would vote for a Dem based on this one bill which is not really an impediment to the 2nd amendment is really not thinking clearly. A politician certainly has to maneuver through many issues. To think that you can get 100% your way is totally unrealistic. On balance GWB is doing an outstanding job of moving the ball forward on conservative positions.

Farm bill, biggest in history. Education, biggest one year hike ever, passed with help of Kennedy. National debt, soaring to near anothe billion. Patriot act, something clinton could only hope for. Criminal prosecutions from clinton years, zero. Borders wide open, Mexicans pouring in by hundreds every day. Millions of illegals in the country, no accounting, turn the blind eye. and on and on.
