Hannity read some sort of old statement or comment from Byrd on his show today. It was from back in Byrd's KKK days. Did anyone else hear that, and can you point me to the text online?

In a letter to Mississippi Senator Bilbo in 1947, Senator Byrd wrote "never submit to fight beneath the banner [the American flag] with a Negro by my side. Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds."http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/907453/posts

I have the anti-norman mailer theory of liberalism ...
anything to turn the 'normal -- up' --- over to the 'weird bottom' ... ON TOP ---
whatever floats their crap and sinks conservatism !
